I love my Mountain King poles and sadly the 4D system on the Salomon packs don’t really work with them folded up. I originally wanted to do the Lock Laces idea (video below), but they were delayed in shipping, so my husband had the idea to use pony tail holders. I used Silicon holders on the sides and it worked perfectly for my 16 miles on the AT, except I had to take the pack off to put them back in. I’m hoping that using the Lock Laces will solve this problem.
